About Us

Raising the cutest breed of goats on the internet...Nigerian Dwarfs!

So how do I pronounce the name Neves?

Just remember Neves rhymes with LEAVES, which our goats are happy to clean up for us haha!

Neves 2 is a family farm in Central Texas. We raise a small herd of registered Nigerian Dwarf dairy goats.

Originally, we sought livestock in 2012 as a form of therapy for our special needs son.  A mini horse didn't work well, so we purchased a single bottle fed buckling, quickly followed by a buddy for him.  They were a hit with our four children!

Non-registered goats were perfect for a few years while we learned proper care techniques.  In 2017, we took the step into registered stock and offered our first registered kids in 2018.

We love the Nigerian Dwarfs for several reasons but top of the list is their small stature, friendly personalities, and flashy coat colors.  Their great milk production is bonus!  We do love following their pedigrees extensively, researching back several generations, as you can see on each goat's individual page.  We don't show at this time, but we are members of both ADGA and AGS.

If you haven't looked us up on Facebook yet, please DO!  We look forward to sharing our photos, funny antics, and future kids with you!
